Towards Entropy (2008)

Two channel video installation

Water reflects the state of mind of a woman in the midst of ending a relationship. Like most plans, things drift toward unintended places and unexpected emotions; soon the conversation proceeds in a way that leaves the end undefined and unresolved.  Simultaneously, an ice cube slowly melts away, its entropy increasing over time.
