Footsteps (2008)

Two-story staircase , LEDs, microcontrollers, waterjet cut steel plates

To visually represent the support of donors throughout the museum’s history, the names of each light up in a pattern of footsteps.  Each person is recognized momentarily, and the community as whole forms the pattern up the staircase.
